Fitbit Versa 2 screen doesn’t show in daylight.

Hi there, I’ve had my Versa 2 for two months and I can’t see the screen outside at all.  I’ve tried to change the display settings but now they don’t even work to change from dim the max (they are all the same brightness no matter what setting I put them on, no change).  I’ve also tried resetting, making sure my watch is fully charged since this seemed to start as a issue when the battery was low.  I’ve also tried changing the watch face. Sometimes it would fix, now not at all.  I can’t see my watch during daytime/sunlight hours at all.

Hi @SamaraJayne - it sounds like an accidental settings.

Try pulling down the watch face from the top once, and then again and click on the 2 white bars to get to Quick Settings.

There make sure that neither Sleep or Do not disturb are enabled, as Sleep will give the symptoms you are having.

Thank you for your response! Sorry, I should have mentioned I tried those options too.

@SamaraJayne - thanks, it may be faulty and if so take it to where you bought it for a new one. A replacement from Fitbit will only be a refurbished one.

In the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support they may talk you through a factory reset.

Hi, @russellmiller82  - again, the other reasons you can't see the screen in bright daylight is certain dark glasses filter the light, notably Polaroid glasses, the battery level is low, it is in Sleep mode, is set wrong or there is simply a fault with the watch.
