Fitbit Versa 2 screen not working, only vertical white lines

I've charged my Fitbit Versa, but the screen won't turn on correctly.  Performing the soft reset on it, I only see vertical white lines on the screen where the Fitbit logo should be.  The watch continued to track my steps even though the display wasn't working.

As you can see, there is no damage on the screen
