Fitbit Versa 2 showing "Uh Oh! Unexpected Error!" when trying to link Deezer App

Hi Fitbit Family!

I have bought a Versa 2 a couple of days ago.

I have a premium account with Deezer.

I have uninstalled and installed the Deezer app on the watch, through the Fitbit App.

I have unlinked my Deezer account on fitbit app.

I have rebooted both phone and Versa 2.

I have connected both devices to the same wifi network successfully.

I have opened the Deezer app to get the linking code, gone to fitbit.com/deezer and typed it in.

It has successfully found my fitbit account, I have pressed the Link My Account button, and then it takes me to the app - where all I can see is an error message saying "Uh Oh! An Unexpected Error Occured."

When I press close, it takes me to the Fitbit App and nothing happens - code still visible on the watch and no linking happened.

When I go back to my browser on my phone, it says "Successfully Activated! Your Account has been activated. Redirecting you to the Fitbit App" and there's a spinning animation below that never stops.

I have rebooted the devices.

I have disconnected and connected bluetooth and wifi from both.

I have also completely wiped the fitbit and deezer apps from my phone and reinstalled them.

I have also done a hard reset on the Versa 2 - did not help.

Can anyone please help me solve this issue? I really want to keep this watch, but if I won't be able to use Deezer on it with my bluetooth headphones - I might have my heart broken and leave fitbit for good.

My brother never has such issues with Samsung 😞

Kindest regards,

James
