Fitbit Versa 2 time is six minutes off

So I’m writing this post for my grandma. She has a Fitbit versa 2 synced with the (up-to-date) Fitbit app on her iPhone. For some reason the time on her Fitbit is a few minutes behind the time on her phone. She has synced the watch with her phone, she’s set the time zones on both devices to be the same time zone (London), she forced a reset of her watch, and none of this has worked. In fact, after doing the reset, the time went back even further (from 3 minutes slow to 6 minutes slow). Any ideas on what we can do now? Thank you in advance 🙂

Hi @hwbrent - when a watch syncs fully it normally sets the time.

However sometimes this doesn't always work.

Turning off/on automatic time zone and restarting the watch and syncing often fixes that. But if not, set to a different time zone and sync, then set to the correct one and sync again.

Occasionally it is necessary to logout of the Fitbit app and restart the phone and watch.

Unfortunately a watch that has lost or loses time regularly between syncs may be faulty.
