Fitbit Versa Heart rate monitor stopped working

My versa has stopped recording my heart rate.  Has worked well for a year.  

What can I do 

Any suggestions

Hi

Thanks for your suggestions

But this page seems to relate more to a fitbit that isn't reading heart
rate/pulse.



My fitbit has been reading fine for 13 months and just stopped on Sunday
night 1st December 19.



Could this relate to a update that you have done recently.



I tried turning off the watch but this didn't work

@ChrisTut, thank you for getting back. By the way, I'm sorry for the late response.

 

Since the issue persists after you turned it off, I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Please sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data. After this, check out if the heart rate issue gets fixed.

 

Regarding your inquiry, we haven't received reports about heart rate issues due to the firmware issue. However, please monitor your watch and let me know if you see anything unusual or if the heart rate issue persists.

I updated the firmware on my versa on Tuesday, after putting it off a while, and my heart rate tracking and sleep tracking stopped then , too.   

I’ll try the fix above.
