While I was swapping out the bands, I got locked out of my Fitbit Versa SE. I have tried everything:
Is there a way I can ever use my Fitbit Versa? I feel like I have exhausted all options. I'm about to return it to the store I bought it, never to purchase another Fitbit. Please help!

I had same problem when switching bands. I lucked out. From phone saw lock was blocked. Tried changing code. When doing this I put same code as I had before and then I could go to watch and it asked me to put it in. One one screen said something about cars are in wallet and can’t change, but did. Try putting in your original pass code. Does that work?

@ellenkim I would try calling customer service. I definitely would not return it until you can get into it and remove all of your personal information.

Talk about a saga hey! First, I figured with mine that if I held down the left button with the bottom right for 3 or 4 seconds, (not long enough to actually restart watch) it took me back to my clock face, and then at least I could use the rest of the watch - still not fitbit pay though.
I eventually had luck with logging out of the fitbit app, then logging back in and going to set up the pin again. This still seemed to be failing - I'd tap on "set up pin", but on the next page there was nowhere to enter a pin, and it said something about doing it on the versa! There was a "submit" button down the bottom though, so I eventually tapped that just to see even though I wasn't submitting anything, and then strangely it let me set up my pin. After that I went back in to wallet to set up card again, and all good now.

Remove the credit cards via the fitbit web site and your profile settings. Then you should be able to reset the Pin. I had the same problem and this was the only way that worked.

Versa has locked several times while trying to change bands. I have an iPhone 7. I open the Fitbit app on my phhone, click on the Versa icon in the top left corner, click on Versa, scroll to the bottom to Device Lock - click on that - it asks if you want to change pin, I say yes, then I type in my same old pin and it works....

Hi!
I was having the same issues and couldn't use my watch for almost a week. It was still tracking so I kept wearing it and did what was suggested to use it as a watch still (holding down the left and bottom right button for about 3 seconds to see the clock face).
This is how I managed to unlock it on my iPhone 6SE:
THIS PART IS ESSENTIAL OR IT WILL TAKE YOU BACK TO THE ERROR MESSAGE
Hope this helps, I found this incredibly frustrating until I figured it out. Especially with the lack of trouble shooting.

I have been trying to unlock my Fitbit for two days, have used all recommendations on this post none worked. It is frustrating, I hate this Fitbit it is not a user friendly at all. I checked in how to use Fitbit hoping that it will have trouble shooting, which they should have tips on resetting the pin since it is a common problem, but found none.

It still isnt working. Is there any other way to fix it. I’m getting worried I’m never going to be able to use it

@isabella_forbes Could you please elaborate? What can you see on your Versa? Is your Versa still linked to your Fitbit account? Is your Versa syncing? What steps have you performed?
