Got Fitbit Versa on Jan-29 for my wife from Amazon. Today evening all of a sudden the screen started showing colored vertical lines. Tried reset but no avail. Tried reaching support number but could not get connected. So just in 1.5 months got the issue and its out of return window from the amazon. Expecting support from the fitbit. Can anyone help?

@arjun.pinu  Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry to hear about your wife's Versa showing lines and thank you for restarting it. Just as you mentioned the next steps would be to let our support team know about the issue. Not sure why you couldn't contact them initially but I noticed that you already have a ticket with them so I wanted to know if they were able to help you?

@SunsetRunner thank you for keeping us posted.

I look forward to your reply.

Thanks @AlvaroFitbit. Yes I am in touch with Fitbit support. Had a bunch of email exchanges on factory resetting the watch. However I was not able to factory reset it as screen didn't show anything other than few bars. Moreover, the watch is no more charging at all now and I can't even see even the bars.

Have positive support from Fitbit so far and they are assessing my purchase for a replacement. Hoping for a positive outcome .

Its better late than never so posting my response now. I am really happy with Fitbit who replaced my wife's versa. The process took around 2 weeks of time and mostly the Fitbit support would ask to reset the watch again and again and insist on providing video. However I was not able to send the complete video of the reset process as the screen display was showing only bars and one cant figure out if the reset is over or not. Kept on following up with Fitbit and they were finally convinced of the issue.

The replacement was shipped to India (I bought the original in US via a friend who was on a short visit) at my address. So fare the replacement is working perfectly and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'm sure it would go a long way (and the original seemed to have some inherent defect which surfaced in 2-3 weeks of purchase)

So would like to thanks a bunch to the Fitbit for excellent customer service and providing a replacement.

Thanks to all who helped on this forum.

I'd definitely recommend Fitbit to my friends!

I am also getting colored lines across the screen. I did a factory reset a few days ago as it wasn't syncing to my new phone well. After that it worked ok for a couple days and now i have colored lines on the screen with no content. I'd add a photo if I was able here.

My fit bit versa was dong the same tried to restart now my screen is black and will no longer charge.
This was a gift to me last year and of course my warranty ended Dec 28th.  very upset considering this seems to be an issue.  They are offering me 25% off a new fitbit.   Which turns out to be the same price at Kolh's and other retail stores.  This is my 3rd fit bit my first was the flex, then undated  to the Atla, then my daugther updated me the the versa for Christmas and now it doesn't work.  You think I would get a little more for being a loyal costumer for so long.  Very disappointed

YUP Same here.  Got one and bought a warranty from Macy's. Had to cash in on that. I had this one for just over a year and it starts showing colored lines. CLEARLY nothing I did.  and they say my warranty ran out on Feb. 8th. They offered me a 25% discount. what a joke!
Bed Bath and Beyond has better deals.  Im livid that they don't stand behind their product. They are clearly not putting out a QUALITY product. Im gonna look at a Samsung watch. im tired of wasting 200$ on crap.

I have had  fitbits for many years. Upgraded to the versa and had to claim warranty within the first year. They sent me a replacement. And now just over a year later it has the lines on it again.  My husband is still on his first Garmin watch   Which he got 3 years ago.  I would have hoped that spending $200+ on a watch it would last longer than 2.5 years. I guess I will be looking at the garmin or Apple Watch for my next purchase.
