Fitbit Versa Unressponsive Swipe Across the screen since software upate 20 April 2019

My Fitbit Versa does not allow me to swipe left or right on the screen, hence I am unable to view the daily calories, stairs, miles and active minutes, plus I can no longer choose an exercise activity other than running, I am unable to turn the unit off using the correct method, i.e. shutdown.

 

Is there a fix for this please as it is very frustrating having to access the data on the phone all of the time.

Hi, restart your Versa 4-6 times in a row by pressing and holding the left and right lower buttons together untill you see the Fitbit logo and release the buttons.

Unfortunately turning the unit off 4 - 6 times uing the suggested method has not worked,

 

Next suggestion please.

Hi, contact Customer Support, must be a hardware issue with the screen.

My second Versa quit responding and I received a new Versa as compensation. Swiping across the screen didn’t work from the first minute. The display shakes and it is for example impossible to turn off the alarm. I have sent Fitbit a new mail and am

still waiting for their response.
