Fitbit Versa Won’t Turn On

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have owned this Fitbit Versa for a year now. It goes black continually and won’t turn on. At least twice a month I deal with this. This time everything I have tried per the Fitbit website isn’t working. It showed that syncing was 3 hours ago. Please help as I have a health issue and need my device. It also shows charged.

Hi @Liberty1952  I assume you have tried restarting the Versa? If not then do it several times. Also try the Semi factory reset as listed below.  If neither of those work you Versa has probsbly died, but contact Support and see if they can help.

Restart your tracker

Fitbit Support

SEMI FACTORY RESET USING BUTTONS
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.

If the device turns on, please go back to the Fitbit app and setup your device back to your account with these steps. Make sure your watch is plugged into a wall plug or a computer, next to the router and that there are no other trackers or devices with Bluetooth on nearby when setting up.  Please log into your account, go to account on the upper right corner, there look for "setup a device" and tap on it. Follow the instructions on the screen and let the watch charge for 2 hours.

This just started happening to me recently.

A few weeks ago my Versa just went dark and wouldn't respond at all. When I got home I put it on the charger for awhile and after an hour I tried the 3button reset and it worked. Today I was out at a store shopping and I looked at my watch and the clock screen was frozen so I figured I'd shut it down and restart it. It never started back up. When I came home I put it on the charger again and left it for a few hours.

Tried starting it up and nothing is happening at all. I've tried a normal restart and the three buttons one. I've had this Versa for about 4 months under 2 years.

Let me know what else I can try to revive this one. Thanks.
