Fitbit Versa battery life lasting less than 24 hours

I've only had my Fitbit Versa since February this year and this past week, the battery life has dropped massively.  Last week, it was on around 50% charge.  By the next morning, it was completely dead.  Charged it and seemed ok.  Then yesterday, it went flat again.  So I charged it to 100% battery life, and 24 hours later, the battery is dead again and now it doesn't even seem be charging anymore.  

 

I charge it correctly and read about how to improve battery life, but this isn't working.  I bought it through Amazon.  Do I need to contact them to sort this or is it done through Fitbit themselves?

Sounds like it may be time to contact support.

Thanks. I did a hard reset and it is now charging but it's been on charge for more than 4 hours and is still only at 98%.
