Welcome on board @owen1234, it's nice to see a new member around!

I appreciate your interest in Fitbit Versa and understand your concern about the compatibility with your Huawei P30 Lite phone. Your phone is not on the list of the supported devices at the moment, however our engineering team works really hard to keep up with every new phone and mobile device releases, so our customers can enjoy their trackers to the fullest. I recommend keeping an eye on this page, as it will be listed there when your device is fully supported.

Due to Bluetooth issues that prevent certain devices, like Fitbit devices, from syncing, our products aren't compatible with some Huawei phones. For more information, please see Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

I appreciate your interest and wish you the best of luck with your health and wellness goals.

If you have any questions, feel free to let me know.

Be very careful. Even if it is on the list now don't count on it staying there. When I bought my versa my phone was on the list and now it isn't. I've been told by Fitbit that they "never," Remove a device, however this is absolutely a lie. But from Garmin, apple, Samsung .. anyone but Fitbit!

My charge 2 would sync for the first 3 months with my Huawei ... No problem. Now I have nothing but issues. Very disappointed as Fitbit has always been great ... Don't really want to switch to a Garmin... but Christmas is coming . Sorry Fitbit. Not sure why this fix hasn't been made yet. Will it ever be fixed?? I have an old tablet that still syncs. But looks like I'll be switching if the sync game doesn't step up.

Best I can tell Fitbit could care less. I'm going the Garman route too.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @KMcK-. It's nice to see you around, @Robing430  I am sorry for the delayed response.

@KMcK- thank you for joining the thread and sharing your experience. While your phone is not a supported device for the Fitbit app at this moment, it doesn't mean that it won't work with the app entirely, but rather that some of its functions might work intermittently. Usually a missing requirement is the cause and I recommend confirming the troubleshooting steps in this help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? Our development team is trying their best to keep up and add more devices integrated with the Fitbit app so please keep an eye open for updates.

@Robing430 thank you for your input. Our team is always working on improving our devices and user experiences, and your comments are always welcome.

If you have any questions, feel free to let me know.

Since there have been no Motorola devices added in the last year and customer service only wants to blame the customer for not automatically knowing that the exact model of phone must be on the compatible device list, I'm moving on. This is the first time anyone from Fitbit actually has replied to any of my forum posts. I not only expect the device to work, I expect good customer service. Fitbit falls far short in both areas.
I no longer wish to play the "will my device sinc today" game. I have better used for my time.

I completely agree, I used to use fitbit years ago when I had my HTC one m9 and back then it was a free app for the phone for steps and exercise, I got the fitbit charge 2 and had a few problems but nothing much, so I decided to upgrade it to a versa lite and brought myself a new phone Huawei p30 lite and I've had nothing but issues since I brought it 😡, I'm tempted to go for something else if I'm honest and selling this due to all the problems, I Literally just spoke to fitbit about the issues and the women didn't seem to know what the hell she was talking about! At first she tells me that her computer said that my notifications were turned off, but when I said there not she said "OK" so that was a blatant lie to make me feel like an idiot, then she says the phone i have isn't supported (yet) it's one of the latest phones and it is supported by all the others but not this one 🤔, think I'm going to have to cut ties and go with someone new, I'm sorry ur having the same issues but glad at the same time that I'm not the only one which is basically a nod to say there not going to be supported anytime soon 🙄, take care and hope u get urs sorted 👍🏻

short answer NOPE, just been on the phone with them (literally just got off) and apparently my fitbit versa lite and none of them are supporting Huawei p30 lite (same phones as urs I have), to say I'm fuming is an understatement as I've been loyal to these guys for years 😡😭

Is there any sign on this being approved I didn't realise this was an issue?

I may need to return my fitbit which I have used fitbit for over 8 years, as this is a total waste of money as it does not sync with bluetooth, aka not for for purpose.

do not get it. It won't connect. Fitbit app will ask you to restart your phone time and again.

hello Liliya @Fitbit. i am from Mumbai, India. Recently had an unusual experience. I purchased the Huawei P30 Lite Phone. My Fitbit Versa immediately paired with my phone. So everything was okay. I actually did not even look at which phone is compatible to Fitbit Versa. On my return from Germany 1 month ago, it would not re-sync to Mumbai time. So i tried to reset the versa app and did everything to set it right. But now it simply refuses to pair. Even the blue tooth is not working for versa. i am now back at my iPhone7 !!!
