Fitbit Versa cracked from gentle knock

I bought Fitbit versa for my nephew. He was very excited about the watch, however, it lasted only one week. He accidentally knocked gently his watch and it cracked immediately. I am using apple watch for two years and I have knocked it maybe 10 times and it has never cracked. I contacted the Customer Service and the responses are template type responses. I am extremely disappointed in Customer Service. I would not suggest to anyone purchasing Fitbit Versa.
