Fitbit Versa device won’t allow me to swipe without trouble

My Versa won’t allow me to swipe right, left, up, or down. At least, not without a ton of swipes in the direction that I’m trying to go (mostly left). I cannot get to the right exercise modes even when I hit the upper right button (ex: I’ll try to swipe left to get to the Interval Timer and the device stays on Running and tries to start timing a run). Starting from the main clock face I can’t swipe up to get my stats easily or down to get notifications. If I try to swipe to the left the main clock face just changes what stat I’m seeing like the amount of steps I’ve taken, HR, etc. when I could normally do this by simply tapping the screen. Also for some reason, when the device is left on a counter, and now on my floor the clock face keeps popping up, I’m not moving it, bouncing up and down to set it off, nothing, I don’t know what else to do, I have reset the Versa multiple times. I just want my almost 5 month old device to work like it should.

Hi, since you already tried mutiple times to restart your device, I have two questions:

1.are you using a Third Party Clock Face? If yes, change it to one developed bu Fitbit itself, cause some TPCF's either get outdated or removed by the devloper or Fitbit itself from the gallery. After that restart your Versa

2. If that's not the case, contact Customer Support about your problem.
