Fitbit Versa face constantly lit up

I have a new Versa (2 weeks old).  The watch face lights up constantly.  i have turned off Quick View but that hasn't helped.  It still lights up and my battery life is about 18 hours.  The only way I can turn it off is to press the side button but then it will turn itself back on in a very short time.

Can someone help please.

Maybe try a restart.  Hold the single button on the one side and the bottom button on the other side at the same time and keep holding until the logo shows up and then it vibrates.  Sync your Versa to your phone first so you won't lose any data.  This is a restart, not a factory reset, so you should not lose any settings. Hope this helps.

That didn't work.  Today battery life  was 10 hours ...didn't even last the day and the face lights up constantly

I would contact customer support. Sounds like you got a dud. It’s happened to me in the past.
