Fitbit Versa faulty after latest update

Is anyone else experiencing issued with their Fitbit Versa after the 2019 update? After the update, my battery would drain after a few hours (it used to last 4 days at a time) and after recharging it the screen went black and the lights on the back of the device were flickering. Now it's just dead. Even after getting a new charger. I have emailed Customer Services over a week ago and Richard.N said that Fitbit would be in contact shortly but I have not received any further feedback which I find highly unprofessional!

I have only had my Versa since Christmas 2019 and it has worked just great and yesterday it just went black. I can not excess the screen at all. I tried holding the buttons. No response and now I hear about things happening since the updates. This is not my first fitbit and I hope it's not my last. I hope fitbit will make things right.

I received my Versa at Christmas 2019. It has worked great up until yesterday when it went black. I have tried holding the buttons to restart. NO GO. Now I hear things have gone a little wrong since the update. This is not my first Fitbit and I hope its not my last. I hope Fitbit will make things right.

@Dan143 @Chass100 Welcome! It's good that the community is growing! Sorry to hear that your Versa isn't working and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves.

My versa is having issues too. Won't move screens, won't track heart rate, etc.  It's not a cleaning issue.

My wife's 2 month old versa had the exact same problem starting last night the screen just went black it's fully charged the green light by the heart rate sensors flickers every now and then and I get vibration feedback when pressing buttons but see nothing on the screen...

My Fitbit Versa went blank last night as well  Charged it fully but woke this am to 0%.  Recharged, did reset..  Now wouldn't sync with wifi, trying restart with Bluetooth.  I see others have had issues since the update.  If I can't get it restarted I will contact Customer Support.

Nothing worked. I am being sent a new Versa. Hope to not have these issues again. Thanks for your helpSent via the Samsung Galaxy S®6 active, an AT&T 4G LTE smartphone
