Fitbit Versa, feedback and warranty

Purchased a Versa in January 2019....... will no longer charge.

Working fine for 7 months, now unable to charge.

Contacted Fitbit and because I purchased the Fitbit brand new on eBay, they will not honor the warranty.

Tried everything suggested to repair the Versa. Nothing works. Even purchased a new charger.

Looks like it's time to purchase an Apple, since the company I work for requires us to track our activity.

Funny, I've been using my other Fitbit (Alta HR), battery died while at work even though it read 50% this morning........ guess what....... I will not charge either. Figures:(

I've seen comments from other Fitbit users with the same problem.

The life of a battery is conditioned to the initial health of the battery and how it is maintained.

Letting the battery go below 30% or above 80% is not healthy for a lithium.

I don't think I would jump on apple to fast. There forums are full of complaints.

Hello @Belladm, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums.

I'm sorry to see that you've experienced trouble with your Versa not charging. It is particularly difficulty when a device is not covered by the warranty, but even tough Support is eager to help with any problem you may experience with the product, they do need to adhere to the official warranty policy, this would start counting from the original date of purchase and warranty is valid when purchased directly from Fitbit or an authorized retailer.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding the quality of the device, comments from users are always useful to continue to improving the products and services.

Let me know if you have further questions.
