Fitbit Versa gone blank/swimming

I bought my Fitbit on 15 2019, & up till now it's worked perfectly.....today I went for my first swim wearing the Fitbit and it went completely blank after 10 minutes.... nothing on the screen & no green flashing lights on the reverse...This surprised me and I'm very disappointed because it is supposed to be fine in water and track my swimming.

Does  anyone haveany idea what I should do because I like to keep track of my daily activity which I can't do now.

Thanks

Max

Hi, I just had the same issue a couple of hours ago.  Got in touch with customer service but still waiting for a response. Will be interested in the reply as swimming in the sea seems OK to me whereas swimming in chlorine filled pool doesn't.

Hi there,  I replied to your post a few weeks ago, and wanted to give an update.  I had the same issue as you, followed protocol and contacted fitbit support.  To cut a long story short, I followed their instructions, sent a photo and was told I was entitled to a replacement, which arrived within 5 days.  I reckon its worth you doing the same.

Thanks for letting me know.
I did exactly the same thing and I have my new Fitbit.
I was just a bit surprised that they didn't send a strap as well ( little
things matter) . But all good now.👌🏾
