Hi
my partners Fitbit verse would not charge and switch on so she contacted John Lewis where she bought it and they confirmed it was faulty, so they gave here a Rtn number to return to store and get a full refund as the Versa 1 was no longer available to buy. So on 01/02/2020 she went to the John Lewis Leicester and went to customer services where she gave them the Rtn number for the refund which was all going through to be told by the person behind the counter that there was no need for a refund as they could replace Versa 1 with the new Versa 2 as they were the same price. Leanna also asked about the warrenty to be told as they had replaced not refunded the new Versa 2 would come with the 2 year warrenty. Leanna contacted customer services yesterday by email informing them that she had not got her email with the new 2 year warrenty, today Leanna has had a reply to her email saying that she would only get what is left on her old Fitbit warrenty not a new warrenty with the versa 2. She explained to them on email that it was a new product and replaced by John Lewis and that she would get the 2 year warrenty with it, this was told to her by the store staff member I have today spoken to John Lewis customer care to be told the same, so I asked them for a Rtn number so I could return the new Versa 2 and get a full refund and purchase a new Versa 2 else where, I am totally dumfounded by there responce and the customer service help line
