Hello All,

I have been facing multiple issues with Fitbit. I got my Fitbit Versa from US in 2019.
2 days back, it just stopped working. Listed below are my issues.

1 Blank Screen - I have read over internet to reboot it or troubleshoot it, done all. Nothing’s working. It goes blank after Fitbit logo appears.

2. Poor Bluetooth connectivity. It just doesn’t connect. I have tried multiple times to unpair and pair again, no luck.

3. It shows me Red Cross with message flashing as Data not cleared sync and try again.

4. New firmware update is not getting installed as it looses Bluetooth connectivity.

I did wrote to Fitbit customer service and yet to hear from them. I am not sure how am I gonna resolve my Fitbit issues. Can anyone help.

Thanks

Neha

It would seem it is not connected with the Fitbit App and it won't be if you did a factory reset.
In the Fitbit App click on the profile photo [top left] and then on "+ Set up a device" as the watch will need installing, as from new.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. But it has stopped working totally. I have tried all the options provided on internet. Fitbit says they can’t help as my warranty time is over. Really Disappointed.

Thanks,

Neha

Hi Neha

Have a look at the suggestion posted here it may help isolate the problem [which could be just a flat battery, hopefully].

If you did a factory reset and that totally killed the watch [which it can due to a bug in their software] seek a replacement anyway from Fitbit Support .

Hi I had the same problem and did the following:

  • Disconnected the watch from my phone
  • reset the watch (holding the side button down until the Fitbit logo shows)
  • then reconnecting the watch through the app

that seemed to work for me

Hi, @Sashasals  That is merely a watch restart using the button.

Though how did you disconnect the watch from the phone? It might be an interesting step.

You go into Bluetooth settings, select the device and then “forget this device”
