Fitbit Versa having TONS of issues syncing to the app!!!!!

I'm SO upset with the Fitbit versa and the Fitbit app!!! Somedays it Sync's and most days it can't. Many of the apps have so many issues with connecting and this has been happening since I got it last year!!! My wifi is perfect and brand new, so it's not the network. It's not the phone, it's perfectly updated and in line. IT'S THE APP AND THE WATCH!!! I've tried everything and now I'm SOOOOOOOOO upset!!!!!!!!!!!!! This stinks!!!

Mine stopped syncing after a charging last night and now I can't even see my 2G Wifi network anymore. Won't show a network list at all. Something has gone wrong and the better fix it immediately.

Mine still syncs but no longer have any wifi connection as well.  Have tried troubleshooting with no luck.  This needs to be fixed.  I was able to connect before without issues.

Mine won’t sync either ‘no device found’ so so annoying I don’t know the next step? I have also followed trouble shooting online eg shut down app, Bluetooth on and off , fully charged the watch

Wanted to update my post to report that over the weekend I deleted the app from my phone and reinstalled it. Afterward, my home wi-fi became available again so I logged into the app and set it back up. All my information reloaded and I didn't lose anything. I had to go back through and set up which apps to receive notifications but I'm pleased to report that I am now receiving notifications again. I can't say for everyone else but this has worked for me so far.

That’s amazing news! I had a 30 minute phone call with a Fitbit advisor and they have now dispatched a new watch. Mine was showing a Red Cross ‘data not synced please try again’

Unboxed my brand new Versa, got it setup through bluetooth to my Laptop, got it setup to WiFi. Intial sync seemed to work, then it tells me I need an update. OK no problem.

Except it won't UPDATE!! WTF!!

Try WiFi, Try Bluetooth, turn off all other devices, remove all other Bluetooth devices etc.

Removethe Versa, re-add to my account, all no use.

Reset the Versa, still no luck. 2 !@#@$# hours WASTED!

Go to their site, to the help forums, oh a popup banner, We are aware of an issue updating all devices.

Nice going FitBit ! I am thinking of sending it back and selling off all my FitBit stuff (charge and Aria) and switching to Garmin. It will cost more but the last few years I have had no issues with any of my Garmin equipment.

The Charge 2 stalls counting steps a lot right when I am trying to get the last few steps in before the hour is up. I swear sometimes I do 500 steps in that hour just trying to get it to register and I still don't get the 250 before the hour is up.

Not impressed AT ALL!!!

Oh that sucks. I'm sorry yours did not do so well. Sounds like I simply
lucked out. The notifications are my favorite feature of this thing so
hopefully you will get a fully functional device this time😄

Make sure you trying putting it in the charging cradle when you try the
update. I think the wifi in the watch only works while it's in the cradle.
