Ive had my unit since feb, 2019. I’ve had zero problems until two days ago when out of nowhere while sitting down the HR keep going up and up, 165 bpm. I take a manual check and get 62 bpm. I use a colleagues Apple Watch, 64 bpm. Fast forward to today it’s still wildly inaccurate fluctuating from 100-170 bpm just sitting down.

I’ve tried going into settings and turning the unit on and off multiple times. I’ve also tried toggling on/off the ‘enable heart data features’.

When I take off the watch I noticed that the usually blinking green light is rapidly replaced with a solid red. I can’t recall seeing that before. I believe it was usually alternating between green/red when it was working. Help

Update: a day after my post the screen look like it had a bunch of dead pixels, sometimes whole columns from top to bottom. After charging, the unit wouldn’t show anything on the screen but the backlight. Safe to say the unit is now dead. I bought a Apple Watch to replace it. So long Fitbit community! Wish I got some help with my issue at least lol.
