Fitbit Versa isn’t calculating calories properly

Hi, my Fitbit has stopped calculating calories when working out. In an hours workout I would usually burn around 500/600 calories, it now is saying 70 in the hour. I have tried restarting many times and can’t see any problems with the heart rate. Can someone help please?

It would help if you could post screen caps of workout summary, including heart rate and calories burned charts.

To post picture, use the camera icon on top row on text entry box.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I find it unlikely thew the workout summary says it lasted one hour, shows heart rate elevated during that time, but the calories burned near BMR.  My guess is that you are mis-interpreting something; maybe it only recorded a few minutes of what you thought was a one hour workout, maybe it wasn't recording heart rate, or some such.

Just my point of view, but until I actually see the data, it is hard for me to believe a one-hour workout with heart rate recorded the whole time show that few calories burned.

I'm on a PC in web browser (Firefox); not sure what it looks like if posting from phone.

But you have to already have taken a screen capture pic and have it saved on your PC.

But if cannot get, or too much trouble, just look at workout summary on phone, make sure it for approximately the time length you thought, and look at heart rate chart during that time and make it was recorded, and elevated, at least a bit.

Me too. It calculated more calories burned for a walk rather than a workout that was 7 minutes shorter but where my heart rate was considerably higher.

Really losing faith in the reliability of this product.
