Fitbit Versa line at end of life

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The core if all the problems with the Versa line and lack of adequate solutions is that Google will no longer support the product since their take over of Fitbit. Google's aim is for you to buy their line of smart watches which still can't compare to Apple's iWatch. Fitbit will now be relegated to a tracker and a time peice only. Fitbit watches are no longer worth the investment if you want a smart watch.

I think you pretty well summed it up, but I still really like my Versa 3 (bought it after the release of Versa 4s because I felt it was a better value).  Had Google kept updating the Versa line, it would have eventually just become a tracker with a big watch-face anyway.

I still have my Versa 3 but when it dies I will not buy another.

I'm sure you won't... because there won't be a Versa to buy by the time your Versa 3 dies.  I was hoping that I would upgrade to a Sense 3 or 4 but that ain't gonna exist either.  😞

My statement about not buying another was meant to include all Fitbit products and not just Versa.

So would you buy an Apple Watch or a Google one? I do like the way I can track specific exercises ( yoga, treadmill workouts) on Fit Bit. Does either/both do that ?
