Fitbit Versa losing connection

Hi, I've followed lots of instructions over the last week or so.  I've had my watch just over a week, and was ready to send it back as I just couldn't get a connection.  I managed to get a connection for 2 days and now I've lost connection again.

Ive turned off Bluetooth, turned off my phone, selected all day sync (no pop up box appears), removed the Fitbit app.  When I try to change the clock face I get an error message (error connecting with Versa, make sure Fitbit is nearby and switched on then try again).  Please can anyone help. Thanks in anticipation. Jan

@JanJack1234 Let's try this (in the exact order):

  1. Unpair (remove) Versa from your phone's bluetooth settings
  2. Uninstall the Fitbit mobile app
  3. Reboot your phone and install Fitbit mobile app. Do not pair.
  4. Reboot your Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes
  5. Login to Fitbit mobile app
  6. Grant all permissions incl pairing
  7. Make sure you have good internet connection and force sync.

I have this exact same issue. It started with losing time. Then dropped message push and phone call push. I’ve been through set up multiple times. The Versa loses connection. Several times a day. I can be sitting right next to my WiFi router with great signal and it will tell me it can’t connect. All other devices connect just fine. I have an iPhone XR. These issues started in the past few weeks. I got the Versa as a gift at Christmas. Thought seriously about taking it back because it didn’t have the phone answer feature I really wanted. 21/2 months into use it is not working properly. Very disappointed.

I am having a similar issue. I keep losing Bluetooth connection between my Versa be IPhone 11s. I have followed all the fixes suggested in this forum and they only work temporarily. Then problem re occurs. Been going o for weeks. Before that no issues. Both watch and phone have latest updates. Confused.
