Fitbit Versa not receiving sms notifications with S20

I have the galaxy s20 and have paired Bluetooth and made sure the app notifications are set appropriately and made sure the do not disturb feature is turned off. I restarted both devices and still no sms notifications will pop up on my fitbit versa. Calls do come through.

I also did make sure both softwares are up to date as well. Any advice?!

Hi I have been with iPhone 2 years and no notification issues " That the main reason I have this watch/Tracker

Just gone over to Android on a Galaxy A40 and have major issues connecting an don't receive notifications 

Not sure if its Versa or Phone but seems coincidental   

The phone does not see the Versa have to do a  force restart  on the Versa  and then it sees it but  next day wont see it again ?
