Fitbit Versa not showing notifications from Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus

My fitbit versa will not show any notifications from my Samsung Galaxy S20 plus. I have tried all of the troubleshooting check-lists, restarted my phone and fitbit. Closed the app. Checked all of the on/off checks and they say they are all on - on both my phone and fitbit. I need it to work as I am starting a new job and cannot carry my phone on me but need to know if my children/children's school or anyone else try to contact me whilst I am working.

Hi,

I just worked out how to fix this!! So happy!

• So, I opened the app on my phone( also a S20)
• account
• under Devices select Versa  > General > Notifications
• in this screen you will see the options that you can customize ie: text, Calendar, Emails and App Notifications. The first 3 are specific to those apps.  App Notifications is for all the random apps you might be using.  Tick the boxes specific to you and you're done! ( I also did a reset on my Fitbit just to be sure)

I just got my Fitbit Versa 2 and I have tried everything and still can’t get text msgs coming to my smart watch.  Does any body knows how to set this notification, May be I’m missing a step or something? Thanks for your help!

That Worked!!! I recently upgraded my phone and i have tried EVERYTHING to get my notifications going. I have been to that location in the app before but forgot where it was. Sure enough, that did the trick! Thanks so much Sandi!!
