Fitbit Versa replacement is dead in 5 months - #32201170

Dear Fitbit community,

I bought Fitbit Versa in 28th-Jan-2019 which was screen dead in just two months.
Thanks to Fitbit for issuing me a replacement on Mar-23.

Things were okay until Jul-2019. After Jul, the battery life continued to decrease. Off recently, the battery life became less than 24 hours even after turning off all smart features (notification, auto sync, auto wake up etc).

On 11-Sep morning, I charged the watch and it charged to 100%. The battery was completely drained in less than 10 hours. When put on charging the watch denied to charge and screen didn't turn up even after 1 Hr of continuous charge. Moreover it became very hot. Now it does not turn up at all. Tried to reset it but to no avail.

Very much dissatisfied with the watch. I was expecting the replacement to last at least an year but its dead in around 5 months. I dont know what to do now.

Please note that the watch has been used very carefully and with love by my wife (it was her anniversary gift) and not exposed to any adverse conditions.
Did anyone face similar situation?

Have already opened a case with Fitbit support and looking forward for a resolution soon.

Regards,
Arjun

Same happened to me, bought Versa in April, screen died at the start of June and replacement watch issued.

Now condensation on the back of the sensor, heart rate and sleep not working AND just this morning the screen went again, same as last time watch is working but display gone black screen of death.

I reckon I got a refurbished watch of some description, is there any Versa that lasts more than 12 month?

I am sure my replacement sent was also refurbished and I'm looking for community members to come forward and let us know if any of the lucky ones having their Versa running for more than an year without issues.

After paying a premium, one expects the product to work at least for 1-2 year.
