What's the best coarse of action for the Fitbit Versa screen not working??? I believe it was from being worn in the shower. Says its water resistant to 50m so that should survive a shower! 🙄

In the hope that it's just a software glitch then try restarting the fitbit using the procedure documented at Help article: How do I restart my tracker?
If it's a hardware problem though (as sounds likely) then your best option would be to contact customer support via contact.fitbit.com If they can't fix it they can check on your warranty status and advise on your options.

@Nige24, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa screen stopped turning on. I totally understand how you feel about this.
I would like to know if your Versa vibrates when you put it on the charger.
In the meantime, please try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, charge your watch for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.

Yes the Versa vibrates when I hook it up to the charger. The link you sent me has to do with having trouble charging the Versa, I dont think that is the issue.
I also have tried restarting it by holding the buttons down and nothing happened... the screen did not turn on.
