Hello,
I just bought a Fitbit Versa and am trying to set it up. I’m at the step where I need to enter the number on my Versa’s display. However, I’ve tried about 20 times, tried restarting both my cellphone and Fitbit, tried turning off/on Bluetooth, but it ALWAYS tells me that the entered number is wrong.
Any ideas?

I would get your money back immediately if you still can. This product is a defective piece of junk that was probably rushed to market without proper development. Look around the forum at all of the problems myself and others have had with the Versa. Fitbit support is useless. They blame my phone for the problems I have and the push you toward this community forum for support instead of having real customer service

Actually, I tried on another phone (iPhone) and it works fine. Just not on the phone that it should be on (OnePlus 2). Any ideas what might cause this?

Buy an iPhone or another supported phone.

That is what Fitbit's support team told me in regards to my problem. I have a Moto G6 which is a very common new Android phone with latest software. But Fitbit support says if the phone is not on their list and therefore not tested by them that they can't guarantee it will work and can't offer support. Which is an easy way out for them to not do work.

I called Fitbit support and they will send me a replacement. Let’s hope that one will work 🙂
