Fitbit daily shows me around 3000 calories and by default it starts with 600 calories and when I go to gym and do exercises the machine over there shows 150 calories but Fitbit shows me 350+ calories and when I compare with other fitness devices that doesn't match. Fitbit shows me almost 3X more calories. Is this happening to all?

Fitbit also shows your BMR and why the morning calories have been counted.
As for the machines. Are you able to enter your age, gender, weight and I assume they do read the heart rate?
Even so, every company uses it's own algarothim and figuring out calories burnt is not an exact science.

My Versa is doing the same! Massively!!! It reckons I’ve just burnt 450 calories in a very gentle Pilates class (usually around 100) But this is all only since Saturday. Im going to try and reset and see what happens...interested to know if anyone else has experienced this issue and what the solution is...

I was able to enter weight and height in machine and even that shows my heart rate.
