Hi, I'm looking to buy the new Fitbit Versa as an upgrade to my Charge 2. On the charge 2 I have to use the fitbit app on my phone to start and stop recording when I go for a walk/hike. I know I still need my phone with me for the GPS with the Versa but does anyone know if I can actually start it tracking the walk and stop at again on the watch instead of on my phone? Also can I see how far I've walked etc on the screen as I'm doing it or only at the end?
Thanks in advance 🙂

Just like with the Charge 2 the Versa requires the phone to be with you for the connected GPS to work .
With both the Charge 2 and the Versa the user has the option to start the run from the wrist or the app. This is the users choice.. yrsywith the Charge 2 you can start the GPS recording of the run from the wrist .
See the online help manual for details or download the user manual for the Charge 2 or the Versa.
