Fitbit Versa will not stay connected to Bluetooth WiFi

Fitbit Versa will not stay connected to Bluetooth WiFi on my iPhone 7 Plus or iPad Air. I have seen numerous posts about people having trouble with their Fitbit Versa not staying connected to Bluetooth/ WiFi. I have read and followed the instructions on the tutorials, I have spent hours on this issue. I am extremely disappointed as are apparently, many, many other Fitbit Versa owners.

Great to see you around @SunsetRunner.

Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself. Could you please tell me which steps have you tried so far? Is your Versa syncing properly? Are you receiving any type of WiFi or Bluetooth error?

Hope to hear from you soon. Robot Happy

I am on vacation and having the same issues. I got in the pool with it on and ever since then it will not make a connection. I have:

Checked settings on phone and Versa

Deleted the app and restarted it

Turned on and off bluetooth

Restarted the phone and the fitbit

Factory reset on the Versa

After the factory reset it did start syncing steps again but notifications still do not work. When I go to set up notifications, it can't connect. to. bluetooth. This is maddening at this point.

Update: The phone appears to be searching for the fitbit again as it is no longer syncing steps.

I have the same issue on my brand new $200 Fitbit Versa.  I did not make this purchase to be forced to fix it, just like Fitbit employees do not buy Toyotas expecting to fix them.

How do I make a return and get my money back?

My Fitbit Alta never, ever, ever had this issue.

I have only had my Versa for 2 weeks and it won’t stay connected to Bluetooth with my iPhone 6. I am getting sick of it. I have followed all the instructions from a Chat and everything from Twitter Fitbit Support. This appears to be a constant problem with the Versa. May send this back this week. 😢

I am having the same issue. May be joining you in returning my Versa. I really want this to work, but I am spending too much time in my day trying to get this to sync with my iPhone. 😢

I’m still having the same problem as well. Right now I’m just using my Versa as a step counter and a watch:-( I preordered mine from Best Buy and I also purchased the 2 year protection plan so I may end up returning my Versa and see what they say. My son is getting married in 3 weeks so right now I don’t have time to goof around with it and see if anything has changed. (When I first had the problem I spent hours trying to get it figured out....sounds like you probably spent a chunk of time doing that too) Too bad, I had such high hopes.

Same here. I've spend almost two days trying to get the versa to update. Nothing. Will not stay connected to Wi-Fi. I've tried all the post recommendations. Restarted and restarted, nothing. I believe this is pointless for a $200 watch. I can't get any clock faces. It tracked a few steps and then nothing.

I totally agree. It is definitely pointless for a $200 watch. I’ve given up trying to figure it out for now because it’s too time-consuming. I’ll have to try again soon or just return it. I had such high hopes. Very disappointing.
