Fitbit Versa won't connect after factory reset

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

After some issues after the update, I did a factory reset of my Versa.

Tried reconnecting. It can't find my versa.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Still can't find my versa.

Restarting the phone. Still can't find my versa.

removed my device from the account.

Trying to add the versa, still can't find it.

uninstalled app again. Restarted phone again. Still nothing.

All other bluetooth devices have been disconnected from phone.

It could find my coworkers versa in the next room, but not mine sitting right next to the phone.

(collegue moved his versa, so my phone isn't finding it anymore)

This is really frustrating. I just want my versa to connect to my phone and work!

Have you removed the Versa as a trusted device from your phones Bluetooth. There is no need to remove the other devices as trusted. Just turning them off or disconnecting them is enough.

Why was the factory reset performed? The previous issue may still need to be fixed.

I tried turning them on and off again before, that didn't work.

my versa was losing time and since the update syncing didn't work anymore.

I've tried restarting and reinstalling the app before this and that didn't work either.

Has the tracker been setup to your Fitbit account? You said that you did a factory reset which removed the tracker without Fitbit knowing that it is removed.

You have to remove the Versa from your phones bluetooth.

Now open the app and setup the versa as if you purchased it today.

Losing time is usually because of a sync issue. Removing the tracker from the Fitbit app and. Therefore the account will only add more problems and a deeper hole to dig out off.

I've been having the same issue for two months now. If anyone has any idea I'm game.

I tried factory reset

Uninstalling the app and reinstalling it

Letting the battery fully deplete and fully recharging it again.

Nothing works.

My old blaze is having less problems, but that at least functions.
