Fitbit Versa won’t pair with my phone

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have been having trouble with my Fitbit connecting to my iPhone. It states under Bluetooth on my phone that it is connect but I do get any notifications on my Fitbit from my phone and when I try to hit the all day sync option on the Fitbit app it says “it needs to be paired” but it will not pair.

Hi @chantelbeverly3, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

Since you mentioned that your Versa won't pair with your phone, I'd like to know if you set up your watch before. If you haven't set up your Versa yet, please follow the steps listed in this help article to do so. After this, monitor your watch and see if it pairs with your iPhone properly.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

@Pineapplegrace1, thank you or joining us in this thread. Since your Versa is still unable to connect with your phone, please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Set up your watch from scratch and see if it connects with your phone

Let me know how it goes.

Hi @byzura, thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa is still unable to sync with your iPhone, even after trying the factory reset.

I would like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article may contain steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. After this, sync your watch and see if it connects with your phone properly.

I'll be around if more assistance is needed.

This happens me too. Only way I can get it to pair is to restart my phone, but have to do this every day. So annoying but at least it can pair then
