Hello,
I have had a fitbit versa for a year and a half, really never having issues with it. Recently my buttons stopped working so I was tapping on the screen to get the screen on. Well now I tap the screen and it does not light up.
So putting it on the charger is the only way to get the screen to light up, the fitbit is fully charged but once it comes off the charger it immediately turns off again. Really hoping to get this figured out because I am a fan of the versa, but if this keeps up I will for sure be switching brands.

@Tylery, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it won't stay on when off the charger.
I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, charge your Versa for 2-3 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

Thank you for replying, however the issue is not the device charging. The issue is that the screen only comes on while it’s on the charger. I can see the battery is full when I get the screen on. I did a hard factory reset and now I cannot get it to connect to my phone.

@Tylery, I'm sorry for the late response. I apologize for the misunderstanding on my end. By the way, I appreciate the time spent trying a reset process.
I'd like you to try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the display stays on when removing your watch from the charger.
Regarding the connection or syncing issue that your Versa is experiencing, please try the troubleshooting steps that are described in this help article.
Let me know how it goes.

I'm having the same issue, was there ever a solution for you? Battery is at 100% but when taken off charger the watch shuts down and will not stay on or active.
