Fitbit Versa won’t turn on unless on the charger

My Fitbit stopped responding to any screen taps or button presses two days ago, and it only turns on when it is on the charger. When I first plug it in, it shows 0%, but it will soon turn on all the way and show that the battery is on 100%. Not sure what else I can do. I’ve tried pressing and holding all three buttons at the same time, and that has done nothing.

Welcome to the Community Forums @cscotr0118! Thanks for already restarting your Versa in order to solve the issue with the screen.

Based on the description of your post, please check on the Fitbit app if your Versa is still syncing. If so, change the clock face to a different one to see if this brings back the display. Don't worry if you cannot see anything on the display by now, this process is done through the Fitbit app.

Let me know the outcome, I'll be around.

The only sign I get when I plug it in is the 0% charged. It won’t turn on so I can’t sync it with my phone to change the clock face.

Hi so, this has affected me too, however I am able to use my screen while it is on the charger, and the battery reads 100 percent, so I did a factory reset and actually managedvgo deconnect then reconnect it to my device. Still no luck however the background changed so I know this is not the problem? I see multiple people have this, is there  any other way i could fix it? I no longer have warrinty so it cannot just be replaced? Is this some sort of bug maybe? I see lots of people have it so are you working on a fix? I have tried all the different resets and shutdowns I can, but I am unable to access the buttons because the moment I take it out of the charger, black. Nothing works. Please help?
