My fitbit tried to update to the latest version.
On updating, it downloaded but failed during installation.
The error suggests to try updating via bluetooth, however, this also fails.
The watch restarts and just shows the message "To Start, Download the fitbit app". I cannot use my fitbit.
I've tried a factory reset using the 3 button method, removed the device from my device and re-added it, tried on another device, tried on my husbands account and many more recommendations from the forum.
All the above still gives me the same error whether using wifi or bluetooth and when restarting, is stuck on "To Start, Download the fitbit app" which means I also cannot use my fitbit.
I've tried refreshing the fitbit app on my phone. I get "Finish Setup - Your Versa needs an update before you can use it. The options are Later or Finish Now". Later does nothing. Finish Now repeats the installation and gives the same errors described above.
Help!

Just replied to another with exact same problem:
1 & only 1 Bluetooth connection to your Versa & updates must be done via the app on your phone & not off or from the dongle.
Do not have the dongle plugged in when setting up or running updates via the app on your phone as you will get Bluetooth conflicts.
