Fitbit Wallet - Card has already been added but not showing

Hi all,

 

I have an annoying issue with Wallet. I tried adding my card and it seemed to go through and get authorised but at the end I got a message to say that my Versa couldn't be found and that the card couldn't be added. (I'm having issues with my Versa and Phone connecting to one another, think it might be the phone as I had problems getting the Charge 2 to connect at times).

 

Anyway I've tried to set my card up again, and both the Fitbit app and Wallet app on the Versa show I don't have any card added. But when I go through the steps of adding my card, at the end it states:

This card has already been added to this Fitbit Pay account. You may not add the same card to your wallet multiple times.

 

So, how can I delete the card when it isn't showing in the app?? Can I delete my Versa from the app and then add it as new, will that delete everything or do I need to do a factory reset - am hoping not.

Hey @LovesterUK, it is nice to see new faces around! Smiley Happy Sounds odd that your credit card can't be added to your Fitbit account. There is no problem if you decide to disconnect your Versa from your Fitbit account. Just make sure to sync before doing that so you won't lose your data. If you have an Android device, open the Fitbit app, > tap on the little device icon > Tap on the little trash can that is on the upper right corner. Once your watch is unpaired, set it up as a new device again and make sure to follow these instructions to setup Fitbit Pay.

I had a brain wave over night and deactivated Fitbit Pay via the web dashboard, and then had another go at adding my card this morning, and it has added successfully. Now just need to try it out!!

Hi, I’m having the same problem as the previous user. I’ve added a card but it’s not showing in the wallet and cannot use it yet. However, if I try to re add the card it says it’s already added. 

 

If if you have any advice that’d Be great

I am having the exact same problem with my Ionic. Close to switching to Garmin, as this is very frustrating and taking up way too much of my time trying to resolve. FitBit - what's going on??????!

Having issues with wallet too. I have set it up but it’s saying no card has been added in your wallet

I am also unable to see my card in the fitbit/wallet web site. 

Only recently started having an issue, now unable to use a Santander card in the UK,

tried removing the card from the the fitbit web site, and relinked the watch to the account.

When trying to add the card, get a message to say I can't add a duplicate card to my account,

I can't see any cards in the wallet (web site), i have even tried removing the wallet from the account.

I am still unable to use my card,

using Iphone 12, ios 14.7.1

Fitbit versa 2, version 72.1.15

😭

Does anyone know how to resolve this ???
