Fitbit and Strata coordination Confusion

I've been using the Versa since January 1. I went to both the fitbit and the strata apps and sync'd them. Some things are really confusing. On my fitbit app I now have 2 entries for the same run, one from Strava and one from fitbit. Is fitbit double-counting the run or just showing me the information on both apps but counting it once for total steps? On my versa the strata app shows older runs but doesn't show the run from today that's showing on my i-phone in both fitbit and strata apps and on my fitbit dashboard. When I run I initiate the run on both the fitbit and the strata app on my phone - should I now do that? Am I doing something wrong?

I must say the instructions for syncing the devices is not very good in either place. Thanks in advance for any help.

@TinaRS No, you should initiate only on one device or it will double. Initiate on Versa only. Please see this post.
