Fitbit app constantly asking me to log back in

Does anyone know why my iPhone X doesn’t keep me logged in to the app? At least once a day I have to enter my email address and password to access the app. Apparently this is for my own security (not sure why hackers would want to know how many steps I haven’t walked today) but it’s really annoying.

I DM’d Fitbit a week ago but no response.

@sue524 I'm sorry for the late response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

Regarding the issue that you are experiencing with your Fitbit app, which it asks you to log in constantly, please make sure that your phone has the most recent Fitbit app version installed. If the app is up to date, try logging out of the app manually, restart your phone, open the app and log in. Finally, monitor the app and see if the issue gets fixed.

Regarding the support case that you created, I was able to get in touch with our Support team and told me that they contacted you via email recently. Please check out your email account.

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy

Yes the support team did email me directly ... but only after I’d posted here.

I’ve done everything they recommended (updated the app, logged out manually) but still having to enter email address and password regularly to log in, so not resolved the issue.

Other issues include getting simplified sleep patterns 5-6 days out of 7, weather function not working. This is my 3rd Fitbit (and the most expensive) and I have to say i’m having more issues than with either of the other 2.
