I'm trying to set up my new Versa 2. The app continues to give me error messages when it try to connect to my amazon account to set up my Alexa and I cannot open google play from the Fitbit app to set up my Fitbit premium.

I believe I can help with this issue. To address Alexa issue: First uninstall the amazon shopping app from your mobile device. Then go back to the fitbit amazon app. Let the app set up your amazon account through your phone browser. After everything is complete try using alexa on your watch. If that works you can then reinstall the amazon shopping app on your phone.
