I bought a fitbit a few years ago. It lasted about 18 months and stopped working. They gave me an offer of replacement or upgrade, I paid for an upgrade. The upgrade last 18months and then stopped working. At this point I'm annoyed. A watch should be built to last they're not £20 market purchases, so this time I chose the replacement. They've sent a refurbished pebble. At no point in the communications with them did they make it clear that it would be a refurbished watch. Is this OK. Surely they should have told me all the Facts when giving me my options. I called before receiving the pebble to express my disappointment at not 1 but 3 watches all failing before the warranty ended and customer services couldn't have been less interested

Unfortunately, the warranty terms do cover this and say:
"...replace the Product with a New Product or Refurbished Product..."
The full terms can be found via the link at the bottom of this page or via: https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/legal/returns-and-warranty
I agree, though, that they should have made this clear during the replacement process.

To top it off the one they sent has scuffs on the edges. When I complained they apologised...that's it, even though their warranty states 'replacement will be free from defects and workmanship'
Surely the replacement should also cover the remainder of the warranty you entered into not just 90days. Otherwise if the replacement breaks you're actually getting less than you paid for

@NORTHERNANGEL38 It does go by your original purchase date. You get the remainder of your original warranty, or 90 days. Whichever is longer.

That's not what they've offered. I had six months left to run, yet the new unit is 90 days, I've contacted consumer standards
