Fitbit connected to Google account and not logging correct details

My Versa 2 is not showing any details on the screen and is asking me to unlock with my phone, it is not telling the time either, but let’s me know how many steps I need to do on the device and when I have completed 10,000 steps etc.  I recently transferred the account to Google and it is not giving accurate data or sleep patterns, it will not unlock in my phone as asking for a 4 digit code which is not showing on the device, any help would be great.
