Fitbit customer experience and after sales service sucks

Today, I am very disheartened to write this as a trusted Fitbit customer. I never imagined that Fitbit would take me through such a bizarre experience. I have been using Fitbit since 6 years and I am shocked and surprised to know that Fitbit doesn't have a service Center globally. 

My Versa 2 after 2 years of usage its completely dead and not charging anymore. I would want this to be fixed and realised that Fitbit is not supporting for any kind of service and I am not eligible for any replacement as well because the device is older than 1 year. 

So, technically Fitbit is forcing their customer to buy a new product if anything goes wrong after 1 year of usage. "Ridiculous" product support and amazed that Fitbit never thought about this basic customer impact.

Now, do you really think any customer would fall into this trap again buying new Fitbit product ? Either have a tie up with local watch dealers for any kind of service or Extend the warranty period. 

That being said, Versa 2 would be my last Fitbit product and I am moving with better alternative. 

"Never lose the trusted customers" with lack of customer support / After sales service

Just curious; do you know of any other small electronic device that has a service center, or does any repairs? 

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Yes, of course there are many. Look at the competitors of Fitbit they have enough service centers across and allow customer to repair their device. 

Fitbit should either extend their warranty policy or come up with some plan for after sales service.
