I'm not able to update the firmware nor am I able to sync the watch with my phone. I tried restarting it and even factory resetting it. Can anyone help me with setting it up.

@SunsetRunner Can you please share your phone model and OS? Also, you mentioned you had performed a factory reset. I am assuming you were not able to set the tracker up. Is that correct? Is the tracker still linked with your Fitbit account (when you open Fitbit app and tap on your avatar picture to access the Account settings, can you still see Versa there?)?

Thank you for addressing my problem @Marrrmaduke . I have samsung M30s, Android 9.0 (Pie). I actually had my fitbit changed from one phone to another so i deleted the account from one and created another with a different email address. It worked just fine,but for some reasons I had to switch back to the old device with the old email id so I recoverd the account and then when I tried setting up my versa lite it said me to update the firmware software but it's not updating.
Currently im trying to use one fitbit with 2 devices with different accounts and both are not working

@SunsetRunner If I understood you correctly, your Versa is still linked with the second Fitbit account that you created for your new phone. That would explain why you cannot connect it back (and update) with the restored account. I would recommend at that point to simply use the second Fitbit account. You can log in to the Fitbit mobile app on your old device with the credentials for the second Fitbit account. Alternatively, you can delete the tracker from the second account and set up Versa with the previous one. I find deleting tracker and relinking with diffrent accounts risky. Sometimes it gets stuck and one may need to contact Customer Support to unblock it.
