Fitbit going hot to the touch when charging and not turning on

I left my fitbit on charge for a good few hours, I've came back and the base of it was hot and won't turn on, I have tried holding in all 3 buttons to reset it and it's not working, I have let it cool completely down and still nothing. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I just had this exact same problem. Charged overnight, woke up to it hot, and it wont turn on. I've tried every way of holding down the left and bottom right buttons, all of them, left and top right, restarting my phone. How do I start a case about this?

I had to write to them in twitter or you can email them and just explain
what has happened, they then take you email address that is link to your
fitbit and look into it and raise an account then the team get in touch
with you but it can take upto 2 days to get a reply from them
