Fitbit interfering with phone connection to car

Just got a Fitbit Versa.  It is somehow interfering with my phone (Samsung) auto-connecting to my car.  I have seen older posts on this but no one seems to have a solution and Fitbit Inc seems to be skeptical it's even a thing?  Very frustrating. I have to restart my phone in order for it to auto connect as it should (and always has) and/or I can manually set up the phone.  I will try unpairing everything and starting over but that seems a nuisance.  Anyone had this problem?  Thanks!

@mskarenj Welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your phone connection with your car. I would like to know how you determined it was the Versa affecting this connection (not saying that it isn't, I just want to have as much information as possible). I was going to suggest what you mentioned, clearing the bluetooth connection on your phone, sync your Versa and then sync it with your car (also remove your phone from your car's bluetooth settings area) and see how it behaves.

Let me know how it goes.
