Fitbit is dead and won't charge

Hi my fit bit appears to have died, black screen and will not switch on.   Has been in charger and not charged.  (same charger been used on another fit bit and works).

 

Have cleaned the back pins of the Fitbit and still will not charge.

 

 

Any ideas how to start this.   please

That happened with my sisters Fitbit ace and we never were able to charge it any ideas how?
