The new GPS tracker is a joke. No longer shows the street names and the route used to be a smooth line. Now it looks like it was drawn with a fat magic marker. Get on the ball Fitbit. You're going to lose people. I'm already looking at other watches.

This app is frustrating it is several step backwards. I received a Fitbit because I'm in a research study and it syncs with my other required apps. At first I felt it was a superior watch prior to the updates but now it has antiquated functions! And graphics! So frustrating to have called Fitbit several times regarding GPS (and other features)and explained why it's necessary! I had to contact the person that I gave my prior watch to which was not a Fitbit, he said he hasn't been using it so returned it thankfully! But since I'm in a research study that requires this Fitbit I can't use my former watch for a few months. There's lots to say that's wrong about this update who thought to make it less appealing do they want to force you to upgrade? I wouldn't trust it if they can at a touch of their fingers change it into a watch that I did not expect. Very disappointed actually glad I didn't purchase it I would be even more disappointed if I had because I would feel as though I was misled.

Hi @Greytdogs - probably best to post in "The redesigned Fitbit app is rolling out!" topic in the appropriate iOS or Android app forums along with the other unhappy users where you will see more fully the issues.
Unfortunately it would seem likely you are stuck with this version officially. Though there may be some tweaks over time already mentioned there. This could take months to get this test version (requiring reworking) to anywhere near how the previous version was.
