Fitbit not working when I tried to download a clock face; frozen

I'm looking for some help...

 

I have tried to change my clock face today.  Now I cannot do anything on my versa or the app to change to another clock face.  I have received a message on my fitbit to even choose another clock face.  How can I just reset this if that is even possible?  If I do, would I loose all date?  I feel that my steps today were also not counted.  So weird.  Thank you for your help!

Try a restart: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

"Restarting your device turns it off and on without deleting any activity data. If your device saves notifications, a restart deletes them."

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thank you for taking the time and reach out.  I tried originally before my post to turn off my Fitbit and turning it on again.   I tried it again and held it longer and it turned off. Then when I turn it back on it worked.  Thank you for encouraging me with this as my second attempt was successful! 🙂
